How Ultherapy Works

Unlike lasers that tighten the skin through a resurfacing approach, Ultherapy PRIME® reaches deep into the skin—without disrupting the skin barrier.

Ultherapy can treat the face at three different levels: The upper part of the dermis at 1.5mm, the deep dermis at 3mm and the SMAS layer (the muscle layer that surgeons lift during a facelift) at 4.5mm.

Nurse Jacklyn is now able to selectively treat each of these layers using this advanced micro-focused ultrasound visualization.
