Dermal Fillers
There are several different injectable Dermal fillers available today. Most of these are temporary and made from Hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Other dermal fillers are made from stimulating materials such as collagen, calcium hydroxyapatite and polylactic acid. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers, such as Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Belotero®, are the most commonplace and most popular amongst new patients, as hyaluronic acid is more manageable to work with and fully reversible if needed.
