Description
SkinCeuticals Clear Daily Soothing UV Defense SPF 50 is a daily hybrid sunscreen developed to protect sensitive, redness-prone and acne-prone skin without the heavier feel associated with some high-protection formulas. It provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection in a lightweight, non-tinted and non-comedogenic lotion that can be applied before makeup.
The UV filter system combines 7% zinc oxide with 8% homosalate, 5% octisalate and 5% octocrylene. SkinCeuticals’ patented Netlock™ technology helps distribute these filters evenly for consistent SPF performance and a light, non-greasy finish.
For added skin comfort, the formula contains 2.5% palmitoyl tripeptide-8 to help soothe sensitivity, 0.5% bisabolol to help reduce the appearance of visible redness, and 7% glycerin to attract and retain moisture. SkinCeuticals recommends it for dry, normal, combination and oily skin, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. The formula is fragrance-free, paraben-free and dye-free.
How to use: Apply liberally to the face, neck and chest 15 minutes before sun exposure and before makeup. Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying, and at least every two hours. After a professional skin treatment, follow the procedure-specific aftercare instructions provided before applying sunscreen to recently treated skin.
