How does the ClearV work?

ClearV uses a 1064nm Nd:YAG laser to address veins, vessels, rosacea, and other vascular structures below the skin’s surface. This wavelength is particularly effective for treating vascular conditions as it can penetrate deep into the skin, targeting the underlying blood vessels without damaging the surface.

The yellow and orange LEDs around the sapphire plate illuminate unwanted vessels, allowing for precise targeting and treatment. Laser pulses are absorbed by the unwanted vessels, closing them and preventing their return. The vessels are then naturally eliminated by the body over time.

When combined with BBL HERO, a high-energy, broad-spectrum light therapy, ClearV becomes the complete vascular solution for complex conditions such as port-wine stains, telangiectasia, poikiloderma, cherry angiomas, and vascular melasma.

What to Expect with ClearV

Patients' eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses during treatment. The ClearV handpiece will deliver precise laser energy to the area being treated. Patients may feel a brief warm or hot sensation as the unwanted vessels absorb the laser pulses. Depending on the size of the treatment area, the procedure may take 5 to 30 minutes.

After one treatment, patients can expect a noticeable reduction in body and facial veins, with results improving over time. Often 1 treatment is enough, however for some stubborn vessels, 2-3 sessions may be required.

Post Care following ClearV Treatment

Please take note of the following instructions:

The treated area may appear slightly red and swollen.
For the next 72 hours following the treatment, avoid triggers that will increase circulation, such as hot tubs, saunas, impact exercise, spicy food, and alcohol.
If the treatment is for leg veins, you may optionally wear compression stockings, and the healing time may take up to 3 months.
