Your Contour TRL Deep Resurfacing treatment is one of the most advanced procedures for complete skin renewal. Proper post-care is essential to achieve optimal results, avoid complications and minimize downtime.

Tips to Remember

• Skin will feel like an intense sunburn the first night.
• Keep skin clean and continuously moist with Aquaphor
• Avoid over-cleansing; excessive washing delays healing.
• Apply ointment in thin, even layers — more is not better
• Do not allow skin to dry out. Dryness can cause cracking
• Never scrub, rub, or pick the treated areas
• Sleep with your head slightly elevated for the first few nights
• You may shower on Day 2, avoiding direct water on the face
• You may wash your hair on Day 4
• Send daily photos or updates directly to your provider.
• If you have a history of cold sores around the mouth, an antiviral medication will be prescribed as a preventative measure
